Menopause is a condition that brings a major change of life for women. This is a gradual stop of menses accompanied by a wide array of symptoms. Usually, this occurs around late 40s to early 50s. Menopause does not only signal the onset of the aging process, but it also indicates the halt of a woman’s reproductive capacity. Furthermore, the thirst center in the brain loses full grip so it cannot detect when the body needs water. Thus, it is advisable to drink plenty of water and not just when one feels thirsty. Menopause women are also very anxious. They often cry or they become very unpredictable. Water is very helpful since it can give a calming effect. Furthermore, cool water will help balance the high temperature inside the body. It can also prevent a night sweat attack by drinking a glass of water at bed time.
Indeed, water and menopause are linked together. The former can help ease the symptoms or the effects of the symptoms of the latter. As such, drinking water must be made a habit by women reaching the age of menopause.
